33 Borrow the e-audiobook through Overdrive now! Swing Time Zadie Smith Following the success of her 2012 novel NW, Zadie Smith returns with Swing Time. The novel focuses on the lives of two friends who as children, dreamed of being dancers. In typical Smith style, the story tells of the different paths they take in their lives. The story is told in first person by an unnamed narrator, who is a personal assistant to a famous singer. Unlike other Smith novels a large part of Swing Time takes place in West Africa, however fans of her books will love this new title as it has all the hallmarks of Zadie’s brilliant writing style and characters. Swing Time is a beautiful novel and readers will not be disappointed. What should I read next? Walking on Trampolines by Frances Whiting Top40BookClubReadsFICTION
