46 47 Leading an effective discussion It is important to designate a discussion leader who can help move the meeting along; guiding the discussion to make sure everyone is heard within the time frame of the meeting. Asking each member to pose one discussion question and focus on exploring these questions will provide interesting debate. Remind members that good books invite various interpretations and that there are no right or wrong answers. Be sure to stop by your local library and ask what resources are available for book clubs.
